These Website Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://schoolbussafetysummit.org (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Rally9, LLC (“Rally9,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Scope
These Terms apply only to the Site. They do not govern registration for, attendance at, or participation in the National School Bus Safety Summit.
Conference registration and participation may be subject to separate terms, notices, policies, and releases provided by the applicable organizers, service providers, venue, or other parties.

2. Third-party registration service
The Site provides access to a registration form operated by an independent third party.
Information submitted through that form is provided directly to the third-party operator. Rally9 does not access, control, use, retain, or manage registration information.

The third party’s notices and privacy policy govern its handling of registration information. Submitting a registration does not guarantee acceptance, admission, or participation in the conference.

3. Acceptable use
You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You may not:

Interfere with the Site’s operation or security;
Attempt unauthorized access;
Introduce malicious code;
Scrape or extract Site content without permission;
Impersonate another person;
Violate another person’s rights; or
Use the Site unlawfully.

Rally9 may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site or others.

4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content—including text, graphics, designs, photographs, videos, logos, and trademarks—are owned by Rally9, conference sponsors, or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable law.

You may use Site content for personal, noncommercial purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit it without permission from the applicable owner.

5. Third-party content and links
The Site may contain content or links provided by sponsors, speakers, venues, registration providers, or other third parties.

Unless expressly stated, Rally9 does not control or endorse third-party content, products, services, terms, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

6. Availability and accuracy
Rally9 may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

Rally9 does not guarantee that the Site will always be available, secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. Conference information—including dates, schedules, speakers, sponsors, locations, and availability—may change.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rally9 and the sponsors, hosts, contractors, content providers, officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents involved with the Site will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from use of—or inability to use—the Site.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Conference sponsors and other parties contributing to the Site are intended third-party beneficiaries of the protections in Sections 4 through 7 to the extent those protections concern their content or involvement with the Site.

8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, disputes concerning the Site or these Terms must be brought in the state courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, or the federal courts serving Loudoun County.

9. Changes
Rally9 may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective.

1. Information handled by Rally9
When you visit the Site, Rally9 and its website service providers may automatically process limited technical information, including:

IP address;
Browser, device, and operating-system information;
Pages viewed and links selected;
Referring pages;
Cookie and similar identifiers; and
Site performance, error, and security information.

If you contact Rally9 directly, we may receive your contact information, message, and other information you choose to provide.

2. Registration information
The Site includes a registration form operated by an independent third party.

Information entered into that form is submitted directly to the third-party operator. Rally9 does not access, control, use, retain, or manage registration information.

The operator’s identity and privacy policy are provided with the form. Privacy questions concerning registration information should be directed to that operator.

3. How Rally9 uses information
Rally9 may use Site-related information to:

Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
Diagnose technical problems;
Understand Site performance and general usage;
Prevent fraud and misuse;
Respond to direct communications; and
Comply with law and protect legal rights.

4. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies necessary for operation, security, and performance.

Depending on Site configuration and your choices, service providers may also use analytics, functional, or marketing technologies. Where required, the Site will request permission before enabling nonessential cookies.

The third-party registration form may use separate technologies governed by the form operator’s privacy policy.

5. Disclosure
Rally9 may disclose Site-related information:

To vendors supporting Site hosting, security, maintenance, or analytics;
To professional advisers;
When required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property; or
In connection with a business reorganization or transfer.

Rally9 does not sell personal information handled through its operation of the Site.

6. Retention and security
Rally9 retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for Site operation, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate recordkeeping.

Rally9 uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information handled by Rally9.
Requests concerning Rally9’s operation of the Site may be sent to hello@rally9.com. Requests concerning registration information should be sent to the registration-form operator identified with the form.

8. Children
The Site and conference registration are intended for adults. Conference registration is limited to people who are at least 18 years old.
Rally9 does not knowingly collect personal information through the Site from children under 13.

9. Third-party services
The Site may link to or embed independently operated registration, sponsor, social-media, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

10. Changes and contact information
Rally9 may update this policy by posting a revised version and changing the effective date.

Registration Notices

Registration is administered by BusPatrol America LLC through an independent registration service. Information submitted through the registration form is provided directly to and controlled by BusPatrol. Please review BusPatrol’s Privacy Policy before registering.

Photography and Recording Notice

The National School Bus Safety Summit may be photographed, livestreamed, and recorded in audio and video.

By registering for or attending the Summit, you authorize the Summit’s organizers, sponsors, and their respective representatives and contractors to photograph and record your image, likeness, voice, statements, and participation. You grant them permission to reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise use those materials for Summit documentation, publicity, marketing, promotional, educational, and archival purposes in any media, worldwide and without additional notice, approval, or compensation.

To the extent permitted by law, you waive claims arising from these authorized uses, including claims based on rights of privacy or publicity. This authorization does not permit a materially false, misleading, or defamatory use of your likeness.

If you require an accommodation concerning photography or recording, contact hello@rally9.com before the Summit. Reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate approved requests, but exclusion from incidental crowd or background footage cannot be guaranteed.
